Masina Hospital Has Launched A Course In Geriatric And Dementia Care, For Young Adults

Masina Hospital has launched a course in geriatric and dementia care, for young adults. The course, supported by RCB, is designed in collaboration with Tata institute for Social Sciences and Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India.

The goal is to create well-trained caregivers. There are modules in gerontology, nursing care, psychological care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and Dementia care. Eligibility for the course is young adults from ages 18 to 45 who have passed, at least, their 12th standard. Apart from efficient care for elders, the course will also benefit unemployed youth who need work.
