Menstrual Awareness For Vaidu Women

THE ROTARACT CLUB OF HINDUJA COLLEGE ALONG WITH ROTARY CLUB OF BOMBAY ORGANISED “PERIODS OF SHARING 2.O (PHASE 1).”

This is a year-long initiative to change and impact the lives of 400 tribal and underprivileged women on July 31st, 2022 The event was conducted at both Jogeshwari and Marol. The team discussed menstruation, hygiene to be maintained, myths and facts about periods and situations when one should visit a doctor. Women attending were encouraged to speak more boldly about menstruation. Sanitary napkins were donated to 400 women to last them three months. Vaidu Upliftment Committee thanks Rtr. Palin Rathor, Rtr. Medhaa Asnani, Rtr. Rajat Singh, Rtr. Rashika Jain, Rtr. Romil Henia, Rtr. Aman Jain, Rtr. Ayaan Doshi, Rtr. Vaidehi Lad, and Rtr. Abhishek Jain for choosing to spend their Sunday meaningfully.
