Paranjoti Academy Chorus performs at Rendezvous

 In Urban Heritage

RCB was delighted to bring to its members an exclusive event on 6 October 2022 when the Paranjoti Academy Chorus (PAC) one of India’s oldest and possibly best choral groups performed at the Rendezvous at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

The PAC has made numerous tours of Europe, USA, Japan & Philippines winning several accolades in copetitions and has given more than 200 concerts in 18 different countries. They have proudly participated in all the opera productions of the Symphony of India (SOI). Their motto is ‘International Harmony through International Music’. The choir regaled us with acapella in different languages and were led under the baton of conductors Mrs. Coomi Wadia and Sri Lanka based Associate Conductor Harin Amirthanathan. The evening of culture and music received an overwhelming response from our members and was a grand success and with more than 150 people in attendance.

The concert was followed by dinner. The beverages were graciously hosted by our Celebratory partners Moet Hennessy and ASK Asset & Wealth Management was also one of the key sponsors.

The performance was arranged and organized by RCB’s Urban Heritage Committee led by Rtn. Renu Basu and ably assisted by Rtn. Rhea Bhumgara and Rtn. Natasha Treasurywala. President Vineet Bhatnagar was instrumental in ensuring that the evening was a grand success and gt the recognition it deserved.
