RCB President With RC Atlas

ON AUGUST 5TH, 2022, PRESIDENT VINEET BHATNAGAR VISITED THE ROTARACT CLUB OF ATLAS SKILLTECH UNIVERSITY.

President Vineet emphasised how young Rotaractors are key to Rotary, globally, and how young minds making sustainable initiatives is crucial. He explained the importance of designing projects that make communities sustainable and, so, doing projects with exit strategies.

RC ATLAS shared details of some of their upcoming projects such as community service favourite Saathi – an NGO mela which returns for its third year on November 19th and 20th, 2022, a platform where NGOs are connected with stakeholder groups to offer assistance in different ways and helps them build their network.

Secondly, Flea Fella, a project filled with energy and high spirits, is back on October 15th, 2022. At the flea, a pool of small businesses is invited to showcase their products. We also invite NGO kids to experience and interact with these entrepreneurs.

Thirdly, RC ATLAS aims to raise awareness about the LGBTQIA+ community. The cell devoted to this, Queeriosty, is coming up with its very first Pride Parade in February 2023 to spread good vibes, colours, power, and positivity.
Last, but not the least, RC ATLAS’ Community Fridge, promotes a way of dignified living, where leftover food can be dropped off and the people who want it, can collect it without having the need to beg for a basic necessity.

President Vineet was so impressed to hear about this initiative that he declared that Rotary Club of Bombay will
support three more community fridges this year!
