The Rotary Year begins. I wish to thank you all for the good wishes you have conveyed to me over the last few days and I commit myself to furthering the cause of Rotary and strengthening our Club.

We need to concentrate on a few things. Our on-going projects are all well-conceived and properly planned. Let’s grow them this year. There is a lot that can be done with them.

While we do this lets communicate what we do properly. And that must begin with internal communication. We will use the Gateway, the Website, our Facebook page and our meetings to keep you all informed about the progress of out projects and our initiatives. The Rotary on Wheels is a very useful tool to have and use.

Mehul Sampath is a veteran when it comes to social media and website management. His knowledge and Rhea Bhumgara’s youthful enthusiasm will combine to take internal communication to new heights. We are a part of one big family. And the most important thing about family members is know what each other is doing. That is the first step towards helping one another. So when they reach out to you in novel ways, embrace technology, and open your minds to great new experiences.

Every week let’s not just listen to our wonderful guest speakers but to our own members who are driving not just the activities of the Club but also change in our society.

And while we talk about integrating the activities of our Committees, let us ensure we do not allow it remain just talk. let’s show each other how we can pool our resources towards our common goal of making a difference.

I wish you all a wonderful year ahead and look forward to your affection, support and advise at every stage.
