 In From the President’s Desk

Dear Friends,
The reason for giving.
Happy New Year to each of you’ll.
I wish you all have a healthy and happy year ahead.
The festive season is drawing to a close.
But giving doesn’t need a season.
Giving only needs a good reason.
And I will give you some very good reasons to give.

Your Club is managing some wonderful ongoing projects that are impacting the lives of the less fortunate. We have raised money for many of them. But some of them still need your help. You could donate generously to any of these causes and feel happy and secure that they are being managed by you fellow Club members and you can monitor them personally if need be.

ADMC: The Ajit Deshpande Medical Centre at Talwada is clocking record number of footfalls. That means there is a great need there for medical help. Your donation could fuel more activity by Dr. Ashwini our GP and our own Rohini, Mehernosh and Soli.

Child Welfare: We have taken baby steps in this area but there is a crying need to help street children and orphans. Please contact me if you would like to donate for this great new initiative we are planning.

Environment: Rajesh Shah has initiated many new community projects. There is a need for solar lighting in the rural area around Talwada. And environment is on top of our minds these days. You could be a part of their efforts.

Animal Welfare: A society is judged by the way it treats its
animals. Bipin Vazirani and his team have been very active
and could use your generosity.

Rural Education: We have built a Junior College with the help of a donation from Bharat Taparia. Why not get to involved in its running? There is a great opportunity for you to contribute toward building a great future for or Adivasi youth.

And of course there is TRF. You could contribute to The Rotary Foundation and be a part of the Rotary universe.

So I appeal to every member. Loosen your purse strings. And experience the joy of giving.
