Objective: To provide free and/or subsidised medical services to the needy community.

– Cotton Green: Approx. 8,000 patients per year

Budget for 2023-24:
– Cotton Green: Rs. 23 lakhs till Nov 2023 (spent Rs. 10.10 lakhs to date)

COTTON GREEN

Operated by the Rotary Club of Bombay with Bombay Cotton Merchants & Muccadams Association Ltd and Dr. Batra’s Foundation. Open on Tuesdays and Fridays. Services include homeopathy, dental, paediatric, GP care, and blood tests. Cotton Green Clinic sees 50-60 patients a day making a monthly 500 in numbers as it operates only twice a day.
•  The homeopathic department is run by Dr. Batra’s Foundation. Consultation and medicines are given free of cost.
•  The dental department runs in association with the Indian Institute of Continuing Education & Research (Rtn Swati Mayekar).
•  Blood testing is done by N.M. Medical at a concessional rate. 70% cost of testing is borne by NM Medical (Rtn. Rahil Shah)
• GP and paediatric medicines are given free of cost.
• Eye check-up is done free of cost.
• In February 2023, the clinic started a tobacco deaddiction service every Friday.

– CG partnerships with Jaslok Hospital for surgeries and Dr. Kulin Kothari Bombay City Eye Institute for advanced eye treatments
– Medical camps and awareness programmes conducted

– Strict budget adherence and necessary expenses covered
– Recent installations: CCTV, biometric attendance, microwave, and water purifier

Facility Upgrades at CG
– Additional dental chair and plumbing improvements
– Obtained sewage disposal licence
– Daily engagement with staff and proactive issue resolution
– Future plans: Dialysis centre
