TRF Contribution: The Club has contributed a total of US $ 5,29,617.81 to The Rotary Foundation. A break up of the same is as under:
Annual Fund: US$ 58,501.90
Endowment Fund: US$ 70,833.37
AKS and Global Grant contributions: US$ 4,00,282.54
TOTAL: US $ 5,29,617.81
AKS Members: PP Rtn Nirav Shah and Rtn Ptn Devina Shah have contributed an amount of US $ 25000 this year, and they have donated a cumulative total of US $ 250,000. With this, we have broken our own world record by once again having the maximum number of AKS members (eleven) by any Rotary Club in the world (36000 clubs in 200 countries). In addition to this contribution they have contributed US$ 50,000 to the TRF Endowment on the occasion of their children’s wedding.
GLOBAL GRANTS
Masina Hospital:
In Rotary Year 2018-19, RCB undertook the setting up / upgradation of various departments of Masina Hospital under 3 Global Grants.
While Phases I (Casualty, Burns, NICU, Orthopedic OT, Plastic Surgery) & II (Endoscopy) were inaugurated in May 2019, Phase III being the ENT facility was inaugurated 2nd November, 2019.
In view of a substantial cost saving in procuring the equipment there was a surplus in each of the Global Grants aggregating to Rs. 97,75,661.00, and with the approval of TRF the same was utilised to procure equipment to upgrade the Urology Department at Masina Hospital. The said Department was inaugurated on 15th January, 2020.
Hence till date, in all, 8 Departments at Masina Hospital have been set up / upgraded at a total outlay of Rs 4.24 cr.

Paediatric Heart Surgeries: Under Global Grant jointly applied last year with Rotary Club of Bombay Pier for conducting paediatric surgeries at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Sir H.N Reliance Hospital our Club contributed $71429 and received a Global Grant of $175000 (approx. Rs.1.25 crores). Out of these Rs. 63,72,678/- have been utilised till date towards 72 surgeries and we are expecting to complete approx 70 more surgeries soon. Another Global Grant of total funds of $509653 (approx. Rs.3.80 crores) applied for by our Club has also been approved and will be applied towards approximately 325-350 surgeries at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, SRCC Children’s Hospital & Haria Rotary Hospital, Vapi.
PHF Members: Presently, 223 out of our Club’s 322 members are PHF members i.e. 70 per cent.
