President’s Report for 2018-2019 – Yoga Committee

With the partnership of Kaivalyadhama, RCB conducted YogYaan training classes for students of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) schools. Thirty sessions were conducted in each school during the year. The principal of each school chose sessions timing & dates between November to February 2019. Fifteen BMC schools in Mumbai were covered. The training benefits reached to around total 1500 students. A separate Yoga teacher was deployed for each school to enable the students to benefit from yoga classes and to derive, improvement in memory, concentration & well-being. The required permission & other administrative formalities were completed by Kaivalyadhama with BMC. Students participating in ‘YogYaan’ session will be given a certificate of YogYaan training and a booklet for general / specific practices of YogYaan at home and during their life. This will also contain a copy of BMC’s permission for the year 2018-19. Financial support was given by Rotary Club of Bombay for 10 BMC Schools as noted below:

Kaivalyadhama arranged direct financing from Sunjwels Pvt. Ltd for five schools as part of their CSR activities. The names of these is noted below. Kaivalyadhama and RCB representatives also provided supervision in the following school and expense were born by Sunjwels Pvt. Ltd. This practice will be change from the next year (Rotary year 2019-20):
