
RCB INAUGURATES DIALYSIS CENTRE & EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES IN BOISAR
The Rotary Club of Bombay, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Boisar-Tarapur, marked a significant milestone in healthcare and education with the inauguration of the Rotary-Ashok & Sushila Mahansaria Dialysis Centre at Adhikari Lifeline Hospital Nagzari on March 13th, 2025.
A LIFELINE FOR DIALYSIS PATIENTS
Equipped with nine state-of-the-art dialysis machines, the new centre will provide approximately 700 dialysis sessions per month, benefiting around 60 patients. Importantly, all treatments will be offered free of cost under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) scheme, ensuring access to vital healthcare for underserved populations, including tribal communities.
The centre was inaugurated by Rtn. Yogesh Mahansaria and Rtn. Jagdish Vora, the generous donors whose contributions made this initiative possible. The event saw the presence of key dignitaries, including Rtn. Satyan Israni (President, Rotary Club of Bombay), PDG Sandip Agarwalla, Rtn. Swati Jajodia (Chairman, Dialysis Centre), Dr. Meera Adhikari (Adhikari Lifeline Hospital), Rtn. Vilas Shahapure (President, Rotary Club of Boisar-Tarapur), and Rtn. Rakesh Mishra (Past President, Rotary Club of Boisar-Tarapur). PROJECT SPONSORS

• Rtn. Jagdish Vora: Sponsored one machine. ENHANCING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES On the same day, the Rotary Club of Bombay also launched two major educational initiatives:
• Career Learning Foundation Centre at ST Kadam School, Palghar.
• IT Innovation Laboratory & Career Learning Foundation Centre at S.D. Vartak School, Boisar.
These initiatives aim to enhance career guidance and learning opportunities for students in Palghar and Boisar, reinforcing the Rotary Club’s broader commitment to community development.

The Rotary-Ashok & Sushila Mahansaria Dialysis Centre represents a critical step in improving healthcare access in the region by:
