THE TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY IS ONE OF THE MANY WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID PANDEMIC.
With no stable source of income over the past five months they have been struggling to survive. Trivni Samaj Vikas Kendra is a community based organisation working closely with over 1800 community members in Malvani area, Malad. During this time they have organised a few ration distribution for 43 HIV affected community members providing them with nutrition rich items such as assorted dry fruits, chyawanprash, jaggery, chana, chikkis.
While these 43 HIV (List of individuals attached below) positive individuals receive free medical assistance they still have to fend for their dietary requirements. Keeping this in mind and with the situation showing no signs of improving a drive consisting of nutritious items needs to be undertaken to cater to the needs of these 43 individuals.
