Wheels on the bus go round and round
On May 15th, 2024, the Rotaract Club of H.R.College, along with the Rotaract Club of Worli Lalbaug, undertook a heartfelt project called “Hopes on Wheels” with 20 elderly individuals from the Ananda Yaan Centre in Byculla. The project involved taking them on an open-air bus ride that started from Colaba and covered various places such as Marine Drive, Babulnath, Chowpatty, and the Worli Sea Link. During the ride, we also played fun games like Antakshari and Charades with them, which brought back fond memories of their childhood.
Lastly, we ended the project by giving each one a balloon to release into the air as a sign of happiness. The Rotaract Club of H.R. College expresses its heartfelt gratitude towards Mr. Dilip from the Dignity Foundation for his help throughout the session, and the Rotaract Committee and Ananda Yaan Committee of RCB for their guidance, invaluable support, and assistance in making “Hopes on Wheels” a truly memorable and heartwarming experience.
