ART COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY THE CRICKET CLUB OF INDIA

The Cricket Club of India (CCI) organized a drawing competition for the underprivileged children on 14th October, 2017, where our BY children were invited. 10 BY children from our Colaba Centre and 15 from the GK Marg Centre participated in the competition. The topic of the competition was Diwali or Cricket.

Mrs. Ekta Shah, coordinator of GK Marg Municipal School was present and gave her undivided attention to all the kids. The President of CCI, Mr. Kekoo Nicholson and all other members of the CSR committee like Kartik Khatau, Suresh Gurnani, Niyogi Shah were present to examine the drawings. There were around 70 children participating from other NGO’s.

Colaba BY students received 2nd and 3rd prize in this competition. Two students from Colaba and GK marg also got consolation prizes. All 25 children got certificate of participation from the club.

CCI organized snacks, tea and lunch boxes for all the participants and the teachers. They personally took care of all needs of the children.

Rotarian Hiren Kara, who is in the library committee of CCI, donated books to all the children to encourage them to read more.
