Participation in Phoenix Mega Medical Camp

“Phoenix Mega Medical camp” was held from 10 am to 5 pm, from 5th to 7th Jan 2018 at Phoenix mill compound, Lower Parel, Mumbai. Rotary Club of Bombay participated and gave free service to members of our community on “Yoga Therapy and Yoga Culture of Life.” Kaivalyadhama, Lonavla and ICYHC, Mumbai partnered with Rotary Club of Bombay, to provide the necessary service on Yoga.

After the inauguration, the chief guest, the presidents & project leader from Rotary club of Bombay Queen City and few more Rotary members & Rotary Club of Bombay member Rtn. Aashish Contractor visited the RCB stall on “YOGA” and expressed satisfaction towards RCB’s involvement in Yoga related sciences & service.

Patients & people who visited yoga stall, were first checked by the doctors after which the Yoga teachers taught them practices which were beneficial to their health problems. They were explained the concept of ‘YOGA’ & requested to come to the centre for regular practice. Information sheets of Kaivalyadhama were distributed to people.

A live Yoga demonstration was conducted by the Kaivalyadhama Yoga teachers along with their students, with an explanation of health benefits. This demonstration helped spread awareness & was very much appreciated by the organisers as it was quite thorough.

Books on Yoga and Pranayama were also sold. A total of 170 people visited the RCB stall in 3 days.
