 In Bhavishya Yaan

The recently renovated 53 year old IWA clinic was the perfect venue for a successful medical camp held for 40 BY students of the Colaba Municipal School on 12th January, 2016. General practitioners – Dr. Aspi Mehta and Dr. Shilpa Mukhtyar, along with the dentist Dr. Kshitija Sonavne diagnosed the children and recorded the needed treatments on history sheets, which the children took home to their parents, for further treatment, on their next visit to the clinic.

The WE and IWA committee members enthusiastically assisted the doctors and children, ensuring things flowed smoothly. Chairperson, Delia Fernandes, along with Pervin Jehangir, Purnima Sheth and Veera Jamshedji represented IWA, and Rtn. Arin Master, Chair of Women’s Empowerment Committee and Hon. Jt. Secretary, Rtn.
